The training focused on equipping teachers with practical approaches for transforming classroom practice from content transmission to learner empowerment. Key modules addressed during the sessions included:

Understanding the meaning and purpose of curriculum in contemporary education;

Reflecting on current teacher practices in teaching and learning;

Migrating from the traditional “sage on the stage” approach to facilitation of learning;

Development and use of instructional stimuli in the learning process;

The role of the learner and the teacher within Wisdom Pedagogy;

Preparing empowering learning environments that promote active participation, creativity, and critical thinking among learners.

The workshop emphasized the need for teachers to move beyond rote teaching and instead nurture learners who are capable of constructing knowledge independently and generating practical solutions for self and community transformation.

It is hoped that subsequent training sessions will be organized to further strengthen teachers’ competencies in developing learner-centered instructional materials and implementing practical strategies aligned with CBC and Wisdom Pedagogy principles.

The Headteacher conveyed sincere appreciation, on behalf of the Director and the Management of the school, to Dr. Miiro Farooq for what was described as an inspirational and transformative training. The school management also expressed commitment to organizing additional capacity-building sessions to sustain the momentum of professional growth among teachers.
